/ 10:36 PM finally can blog want to post an entry need to wait for hours .... Friday 23/11/07 Last day for my tep (BSU) is the second or third day setting up the booth for the immersion trip StarCruise 299++ looks cheap right lol quite a lot of pp sign up especially those from BI year 2 jeff and shang on MC today so left me and san yuan to carry those tables and chairs haha closed our booth at ard 3pm after that mc come to our room and chat with me , sarah and jessica coz he need take back his thumbdrive from jessicia followed on , mc become our camera man last day in BUS so decided to ask mc to help us take a "Family Photo" took a couple of groups photo before we take individually kinda sad coz gonna miss them and the ones in ELDC too haha Sat 24/11/07 planned to check out the place where i am attached to for my ipp so in ard after 2 pm i went to IBM kinda far from the MRT station ard 10 min walk luckily have shelter all the way if not i am going to swear like mad wearing formal after that gone down to tampinese to have a walk kind of looking for my formal tops but cant really get what i want Sunday 25/11/07 nothing much to say kinda scared of my attachment tml wondering what kind of OIC will i get nice and friendly ? fierce looking ? what kind of task will i be handling ? am i able to handle the task given ? all these questions appeared in my mind but no one can answer that Monday 26/11/07 today is my first day of IPP woke up early in the morning to prepare set off at 7.40am caught my bus 88 and take the mrt from pasir ris reach there ard 8.45am haha was early i can say but too early in the end still need for the HR to come down fetch us so the person in charge of us came ard 9.45am ? lol all of us were brought to a room and we are to fill in some personal particulars after that wait for someone to call us guess what ? i am the last one to be called waited for about 1 hour ? at first scott thinks he is the last to be called but no i was the last one then finally the person come fetch me and bring me downstairs and take photo for my entry pass it took a while before i was called for the photo shoot 30min ? after the photo shoot i met my manager called Mr. Himanshu lols he showed me my desk and i was told to go 1 place to collect my laptop which they call it ThinkPad instead of laptop at the cloning room which is the collection of the laptop waited for another 1 hour ? to get everything set up for the laptop so tiring and it was lunch time had lunch with keneth and scott luckily dont need to walk so far to eat just need to walk to an underpass then can see 1 foodcourt was told by some of the people there that there is a bus during lunch time to take us to various places to eat monday wed friday (Bedok) tuesday thursday (Simei) after lunch went back to my desk and started to find my manager to ask him what i need to do all those but he told me he is busy for the day and no time for me so he said just set up the laptop and get used to the lotus Email system and he will talk to me more tml spend the whole afternoon customizing my laptop wallpaper msn lol soon after 1 of the admin staff came and change the desk name tag to my name and gave me the keys for the locker and drawer time past so fast that it was 6pm packed up and walk over to the manager desk and ask him if i can go or need to sign out but he was not there anymore i guess he has left haha so i left with keneth keneth gave me a ride in his bike to pasir ris then i took 88 home so thats the first day of my ipp at IBM whats more to come we shall anticipate for the rest of the 12 weeks ! |
